We’re slowly winding down for the end of the year. Finally. I’m quite tired, not sure about you all, but it’ll be nice to rest.

Before we can get there though, it’s time for another project update!

Far North

Rewrites are over!!

It’s nice to have that all wrapped up before the end of the year hits. As I mentioned on bsky, I’m taking the rest of the year off from the novel. Get some mental space before diving back in come the new year. All this means is that next month there wont be much of an update for Far North.

Exploring Spirit

The research has begun and the editing of Mary Eddy is underway.

Right now, I’m looking to add a bit more about P.P Quimby into the Mary Eddy discussion. Much like I did with Ramakrishna and Vivekananda, I realize that Mary Eddy’s story is nothing without her teacher. That said, I’m still cleaning things up in the old articles about Mary, so it will be awhile before I’m ready to even think about adding anything new in.

Remember when this series was going to be a podcast? Well, my articles remember, and it’s gonna take some time to reorganize everything into a coherent flow.

Otherwise, my goal for the next month is to get the missing images back into the Vivekananda articles. It seems like December is going to be pretty heavily focused on Exploring Spirit.

Twitch and Others

It’s time for another 12 Streams event! I’ll be live every night from 1830 to 2030 EST starting December 9. Come join us for a variety of games, interesting conversation, and to support a good cause.

This time around we’ll be supporting Feeding America. After what happened with SNAP benefits during the government shutdown, we felt it was important to try and give back to domestic groups that are doing what the government wont. Food is a right, not a privilege, but it is a privilege to be able to assist an organization that is trying to help. I hope you’ll join us!

Each $10 donation made will get you the ability to vote on what happens to my UK edition Harry Potter books. I have a few ideas from just donating them, selling them, or creating new art out of them. While I had bought them used, I haven’t read them since I was a kid and given JK Rowling’s politics…I’m not really convinced I’ll ever want to pick them up again. Not when there’s far better and more interesting magical worlds to be a part of.

Lastly, be on the lookout for the annual Florida Senate Session articles. I’ve gone through what is currently being proposed and am compiling a list of bills that either look interesting or could cause mayhem for FL residents. It’s already shaping up to be an interesting session is all I’ll say for the moment!
